Hi, I’m Shallynn

I Help Individuals, Couples, and Professionals Navigate Anxiety, Burnout, and Relationship Challenges

You know that feeling when your brain just will not slow down? Replaying conversations in your head, overthinking every decision, questioning whether you said the wrong thing, or feeling stuck between what you really want and what everyone else expects from you?

You may look like you are handling everything well from the outside, but internally feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, burnt out from work, or the ins and outs of your everyday, struggling in relationships, or constantly second guessing your choices.

Maybe you have spent so much time taking care of everyone else’s needs that you are not even sure what you need anymore.

I work with individuals, couples, and professionals navigating anxiety, burnout, workplace stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions. A lot of the patterns that feel frustrating now usually started for a reason. Sometimes overthinking became a way to stay prepared. Sometimes staying quiet felt easier than risking conflict or judgment. Constantly pushing through became normal.

But eventually those patterns stop helping and start leaving you feeling emotionally drained, disconnected, and stuck inside your own head.

My approach is honest, direct, and warm. I create a space where you can show up fully without feeling judged, analyzed, or reduced to your struggles. I ask questions most people haven’t thought to ask themselves, helping you look deeper at the patterns, beliefs, and experiences shaping your life. I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful, but always with care and intention.

My goal is for you to leave sessions not just feeling temporarily validated, but understanding yourself in a deeper and more meaningful way.

I offer virtual therapy throughout Georgia, with in-person sessions in Dunwoody.

Let’s work toward helping you feel more like yourself again.

  • Helping women better understand themselves, manage emotional overwhelm, and feel more grounded in their everyday lives.

  • I help men navigate vulnerability, insecurity, comparison, fear of rejection, and the pressure to fit into a certain mold by supporting them in defining success for themselves, building expectations rooted in their reality, expressing their needs, and developing healthier, more authentic ways of showing up in their lives and relationships.

  • Helping couples improve communication, rebuild emotional connection, and better understand the patterns affecting their relationship.

  • Working with individuals who feel mentally exhausted from constantly questioning themselves, replaying situations, and struggling to trust their decisions.

Burnout Therapy Atlanta

Therapy for Burnout, Workplace Stress, and Self-Esteem

A lot of people do not realize they are burned out until they feel completely emotionally exhausted. You keep pushing through work stress, responsibilities, pressure, and expectations for so long that being overwhelmed starts feeling normal. You tell yourself you just need to get through this week, this deadline, this project, or this season of life, but the pressure never really slows down.

Over time, that constant stress can start affecting more than just your energy. You may notice yourself overthinking more, feeling disconnected from who you are outside of work, struggling with your confidence, becoming emotionally drained in relationships, or feeling like your mind never fully shuts off.

Instead of continuing to push through it alone, therapy can help you slow down and better understand what is underneath the burnout, stress, anxiety, and self-doubt.

I provide therapy for burnout, workplace stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and self-discovery for individuals, couples, and professionals in Dunwoody and virtually throughout Georgia.

How I Support You

Therapy with me is about helping you understand yourself on a deeper level, especially the patterns, stress, and emotional weight you may have been carrying for a long time. I believe a lot of the ways we react, overthink, shut down, or disconnect from ourselves usually come from unmet needs and experiences that shaped us over time.

  • Helping you navigate constant pressure, emotional exhaustion, and the feeling that your mind never fully shuts off, even outside of work.

  • Supporting couples who feel disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in unhealthy communication patterns that keep creating the same conflicts.

  • Creating space for women to process anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and the pressure of always trying to keep everything together.

  • Supporting men navigating pressure, insecurity, emotional disconnect, vulnerability, self-worth struggles, relationship stress, and expectations around masculinity, success, and emotional expression.

  • Exploring how past experiences, communication habits, and emotional patterns may be affecting your relationships and sense of self.

  • Helping you process major life changes, shifting relationships, uncertainty, and seasons where life feels emotionally overwhelming or unclear.

  • Working through self-doubt, disconnection, and the struggle of figuring out who you are outside of expectations and pressure.

  • Strengthening your ability to recognize your emotional needs, communicate honestly, and stop ignoring what you truly feel.

  • Understanding the deeper patterns behind racing thoughts, constant worry, emotional tension, and the exhaustion that comes from living inside your head.
